To celebrate the debut, an exclusive open house was held at Lombardi’s headquarters, welcoming clients, partners, and industry experts to witness the Smartline in live operation. The event generated enthusiastic feedback and confirmed the market’s strong interest in this cutting-edge solution.

Smartline expands Lombardi’s product portfolio with a platform engineered for high productivity and smart automation, all at a more competitive price point compared to the flagship Synchroline. Despite its accessible pricing, Smartline maintains an exceptional technological standard: all modules—unwinder, infeed, print units, die-cutting, outfeed, and rewinders—are driven by SIEMENS servo motors, ensuring precision and reliability.

Key benefits include extremely fast job changeovers through automatic axis positioning and recipe storage, paired with Lombardi’s signature ease of use. Available in 350 mm and 450 mm web widths (13.7” and 17.7”), the press can be enhanced with various embellishment modules such as screen printing, hot/cold foil, and more.

Following successful installations in Europe and Asia, the first North American Smartline is scheduled for installation by the end of July.
